Technology Scouting
My technology scouting reports (TSRs) are concise reports describing findings on client technology requests (Wants). These reports are delivered after a period of investigation agreed at the beginning of the commission.
Before inclusion in a TSR, solutions are evaluated against your technical and commercial requirements. TSRs typically include brief technical descriptions of each hit, development and market horizon ranking of the hits, ownership and IP status of the hits, notes on the plans in place for the hits (the third party’s Wants) and suggestions for taking each hit forward. During the investigation that leads up to a TSR, your (my client’s) identity can remain anonymous. Indeed only information cleared with the client is ever shared with a third party. This provides some distance between you and the potential technology providers in the early stages of selection and keeps the technical “want” confidential. Once you are ready to take a potential solution forward, I can make introductions, facilitate the exchange of CDAs/MTAs and coordinate the initial meetings if required. |
