A bit about me
My background is in materials science and engineering - B.Eng in 1997; PhD in 2001 (Queen Mary, University of London). I have worked on a variety of R&D projects (in the UK and Canada). I also worked in regulatory affairs (short-term contract). In 2006, I joined an innovation consultancy firm based in the UK and Australia. I now provide independent consultancy services.
My underlying strengths come from my solid background in science and engineering, my analytical and problem solving skills, and my excellent communication skills. I am adept at bridging the gap between the disciplines and finding cross-sectorial solutions for my clients. I am as comfortable engaging in a biological project as I am an engineering one. |
I maintain an extensive network of personal and professional connections around the world. My strongest links are in Europe, Canada, the USA and Australasia. I am also cultivating a growing network in the BRIC countries and the Middle East. Through these links, I am able to access innovations from research centres of excellence, incubators and technology parks, and technology transfer offices of leading universities worldwide.
My past and current clients will know that I always act with utmost ethical integrity and place strong emphasis on my clients’ confidentiality and commercial safety. In all services, I guarantee having no conflicts of interest (pecuniary or otherwise) with respect to any third party I recommend. |
